Nattai River is a welsh mountain pony stud located at Wangaratta in North East Victoria
The Nattai River stud was registered in 2006 and is a continuation of the Milton Park stud of my grandfather Anthony Hordern and of my mother's Nattai Stud registered in 1931.
The Milton Park Stud was founded in the early years of the 20th century, with the importation from Wales of the stallion Cream of Eppynt and six very good mares selected by Mr. Bill Price Jones of "Manoraven", Llandilo, Wales, whose father used to train Dyoll Starlight.
Two of the six imported mares were Topsy, 4157 WSB and Little Queen, 2622 WSB. From these 2 mares all of the Nattai River Ponies have evolved.
